(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) A delegation from the Ministry of Finance of the Kurdistan Regional Government will visit Baghdad in the coming days to discuss the reopening of the secondary border crossings.
"The delegation will visit Baghdad at the General Directorate of Customs, which is also formed by the Ministry of Finance, to discuss the reopening of the informal border crossings with Iraqi officials, which was closed by a decision of the Iraqi government," said General Director of Customs in the Kurdistan region Samal Abdul Rahman.
"The Iraqi government has sent several delegations to the Kurdistan region in recent months to resolve the issue of border crossings and to make secondary crossings official crossings, knowing that the secondary crossings are already official by Iran and the provincial government."
