(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The head of the Qatari mission to Iraq Hussein Ali al-Fadala revealed the arrival of a delegation of Qatari businessmen to Baghdad in February next year.
This came during a meeting with the delegation and the accompanying delegation, Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi in the office of the ministry in Baghdad, on Tuesday.
"During the meeting, they discussed joint relations and ways to strengthen them and facilitate procedures in various fields of cooperation to serve the interests of the two countries," the ministry said in a statement.
During the meeting, the Minister of Planning praised the efforts of the State of Qatar to assist Iraq in restoring stability and reconstruction of the liberated areas and the economic and investment role in Iraq, which was reinforced by the Iraqi delegation's recent visit to the country headed by the President of Iraq.
Dulaimi explained to the Qatari delegation "the main features of Iraq's vision for sustainable development 2030, and the role of investment that can be exercised by local companies, regional and international in Iraq, especially in light of the security stability achieved by the efforts of our heroic security forces."
For his part, praised the head of the Qatari mission and the delegation accompanying him, the strategic plans of the Ministry of Planning, stressing that they do not spare any effort that would serve Iraq.
