Speaker of the Parliament Salim al-Jubouri said on Saturday that Iraq is going through a historical situation that requires politicians to make dialogue and understanding.
Jabouri said during a speech on the 36th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Islamic Council, followed by "Mawazin News," that "Iraq is going through a historical and critical detail requires the political elite effort of dialogue and understanding."
He stressed that "the Iraqis were able today to establish a culture of unity through their courage in decisiveness and the dismantling of thorny files," pointing out that "stalemate has never been a means of solution or way of coexistence or a path of wisdom and opinion and leaders of thought and understanding."
He pointed out that "Iraq, despite all the external and internal challenges faced by it has remained the intellectual ceiling and the umbrella framework governs."
