Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Mr. Fouad Hussein, on Monday , July 22, 2019 an expanded meeting of the Special Committee for the preparation of the general state budget for the year 2020-2022 at the headquarters of the ministry 's strategy
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of members of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives and members of the Board of Counselors in the Council of Ministers and agents of the Ministry of Planning and Health and representatives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers discussed the ceilings of public spending including current and investment spending of all ministries by the Ministry of Finance and The Ministry of Planning and discuss the prices of oil and drainage and its relationship to the budget and seek to find appropriate solutions to the problem of public spending and review the revenues of ministries and agencies and improve methods of collection to achieve community justice and maximize revenues to support spending General for future budgets
The economic report of the budget strategy 2020-2022 was presented, which provided an explanation on the economic and financial reality and the categories that should be targeted in order to stimulate the economy, especially the sectors of industry, agriculture, tourism and education, which includes the public and private sectors as well as investment opportunities in general and national development indicators.
