The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Mr. Mohammed Al Halbusi, received at his private office in Baghdad the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Salim Ghasab Al-Zamanan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador offered his congratulations to President Halaboussi on the occasion of his ascension to the presidency of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, stressing that Kuwait is always keen to be a state supportive of Iraq in all areas of political, economic and social.
For his part, Speaker of the Parliament expressed the appreciation of the State of Iraq and the people of Arab support in all its forms, especially the support provided by sisterly Kuwait in supporting their brothers in the province of Basra in the fields of electricity and water, appreciating this great role of the sister country.
