(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received in a formal ceremony on Wednesday Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and his accompanying delegation in the capital Ankara.
Abdul-Mahdi arrived in Ankara this afternoon at the official invitation of Erdogan.
The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister, Oil Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Ministers of Planning, Development Cooperation, Trade, Agriculture, Industry, Minerals, Water Resources, Transport and Communications, a number of heads of parliamentary committees and members of the House of Representatives, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, The National Security Authority, the head of the National Investment Authority, the head of the border crossing authority and a number of deputy ministers, officials and advisers.
The Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation conclude their visit to Turkey in the middle of the night.
The talks will focus on "the security file and the presence of Turkish troops in the camp of Baasheqa in the city of Mosul and not to use the territory of Iraq to attack another country and the situation in the region and the existing escalation and how to avoid and build relations at several levels and the file of border crossings and the situation in Sinjar and economic files and water issue."
