(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The Cabinet decided to establish a plant for cooking edible oil in partnership with the private sector in Khor al-Zubair south of the province of Basra.
A statement by the Secretariat of the Council received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "the Council of Ministers amended its previous resolution No. 208 of 2017 on the establishment of a plant to produce edible oil in partnership with the private sector."
He pointed out that the decision "has become the approval of the addition of two plots of land in Khor al-Zubayr to the previous piece of land and return to the General Company for the trade of foodstuffs without any obligations on them for the purpose of establishing a plant to produce oil material, according to the provisions of Article 16 of the second paragraph of the first paragraph of the Public Companies Law No. 22 for the year 1997 as amended. Noting that "the decision comes in support of the national product."
