Ministry of Commerce officials who gathered to demonstrate in front of the ministry's door on Tuesday did not expect anyone to come out and listen to their demands and discuss their demands and how to find solutions for them.In a gesture and a good gesture not witnessed by many demonstrations and protests, the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Mohammad Hashim al-Ani, has to be received by the staff of his ministry, who gathered to raise their demands, most of which concern grievances on salaries and bonuses and incentives and other administrative obstacles.
Minister Dr. Mohammed Hashim al-Ani after the demonstrators circled around and listened to their demands in a frank dialogue at the gate of the ministry and spontaneously, stressed the work to address what is exposed to the staff of the ministry and re-entitlements of the job and lifting the injustice by moving towards the Council of Ministers and related parties related work on the subject.
"I worked from the first day of my job at the Ministry of Commerce to deal with all the problems that have been caused due to neglect for previous years. I also worked through the daily interview schedule to listen to the personal and collective problems of employees. We are proactive in finding solutions to all outstanding issues.
"These demands will be a top priority for my work as minister and all the ministry's staff in the departments and companies," he said.
The Minister of Trade held a joint meeting with MP Mnail Hamidioui, who also attended the Minister's meeting with the demonstrators accompanied by MPs Hussein Arab and Ahmed Kanani, where the Minister gave a detailed explanation of the Ministry's procedures in the treatment of cases
Joblessness and re-entitlements of employees as well as the huge amount of communications between the Ministry and the relevant authorities to obtain legal approvals to address the problems of employees and raise cases of injustice that occurred in the previous ten years.
"Some of the communications were related to the Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers, which held its first meetings last week and we are working with them on the subject of incentives to support employees and a decision that meets the desire of the employees to obtain material support from the amounts received for the distribution of food items.
"The communications and measures taken by the Minister of Commerce have been positive and important for the benefit of the staff, but some of them need procedures and communications. We as deputies and executive bodies waiting for the measures that will be taken in order to address the root causes of the problems faced by the ministry employees

Dr. Al-Ani said in response to what some employees, who fear the difficulty of meeting him and presenting their applications, said: "The ministry's members, from the minister to the driver, are all employees who serve and all of them care about the success of their work.
On the fear of some that their demands may be lost with the formation of the Committee, Dr. Al-Ani promised staff to follow up the work of the formed committee, calling them to meet him at any time to identify their problems.
