The International Monetary Fund announced Sunday that three Iraqi ministries acquires two million out of 3.5 million jobs.
The IMF said in a report obtained by the news, "economy", that "the public sector represents the largest employment recruiters and employs approximately 3.5 million toward 42% of total jobs", adding that "wage bill for public employees reached 34 trillion dinars."
He noted that "wage bill rose more than five times the Government budget registered a rise of 7% to more than 40%", noting that "the defense and interior ministries of education and is the largest employment agencies for workers and nearly 2 million employees," explaining that "46% of employees work in urban ministries and 30% Working in the defense and Interior Ministers and 24% unknown. "
