Hosseini pointed out that the Iraqi government has recently agreed that the Iranian companies resume work on their technical and engineering projects that are stalled there. "The Iraqi government also announced its readiness to pay their dues."
He pointed out that the value of technical and engineering projects carried out by Iran in Iraq is 4 billion dollars, adding: Of this amount, only $ 1.2 billion has been paid in recent years, and with the new Iraq's decision will soon be implemented more projects.
The general security of the joint Iranian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce will be implemented soon in the near future to implement about 500 technical and engineering projects in Basra, so now is the time for Iranian companies to enter the Iraqi market to follow up these projects.
