Iraq announced its approach to historical production in crude oil.
Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban said on Tuesday that Iraq is close to reaching oil production capacity at five million barrels per day, and is looking to add two million barrels in the next few years.
He added that "Iraq is still burning half of the associated gas production, and that until the end of last year."
"But new gas-to-liquid projects will help solve the problem," Ghadhban said
