The Iraqi oil marketing company Sumo plans to sell up to four million barrels of Basra crude in January at an auction on Plats on Friday, a memo from Platt said.
"Sumo plans to launch two million barrels of Basrah Light crude for loading January 20 and another two million barrels of heavy Basra loaded Jan. 23," the document said. Both displays are fixed. "
"Oil can be bought as a single shipment of 2 million barrels or divided by two million barrels per day," she said.
Platts published the confirmed offers from Sumo customers by 3:45 pm Singapore time (0745 GMT) and will remain in effect until 0900 GMT.
It will be the second auction of Sumo on Platts. The company did not give the shipment it offered at the first auction last month.
