BAGHDAD: Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Oil Minister Thamer Ghadhban said on Sunday that Iraq has regained its membership in the Transparency International initiative.
"The decision to lift the suspension was the result of a series of measures taken by Iraq that have made significant progress in implementing the initiative's standards and better implementing its requirements," said Ghadhban, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative in Iraq.
