The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) said on Saturday that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Kurdistan Regional Government President Nechirvan Barzani discussed several issues including border crossings, energy and air embargo.
The leader of the party Abdul Salam Barwari said that "there are common understandings between Abadi and Barzani preceded the meeting between them," noting that "there is great optimism by the Kurds to the outcome of the meeting of the common interest of both sides."
He added that "the visit comes to discuss the issue of border crossings and air embargo on the region, as well as the file of energy and oil."
