Diyala province announced on Friday the launch of the first phase of reconstruction projects in the liberated areas of the province with the support of a government fund.
"Seven projects represent the first meal in the program for the reconstruction of the liberated areas in Diyala, which was launched with the support and funding of the government reconstruction fund, which was established to oversee and finance reconstruction projects and construction of the liberated areas," Diyala media director Yasser Bader said in an interview with Al-Iktissad News.
Bader added that "the projects related to the cladding and paving of roads," stressing the "importance of starting reconstruction projects in the restoration of services in addition to creating jobs for the unemployed and contribute to the creation of economic recovery."
