The General Council of the Movement for Change, on Thursday, the proposal to withdraw the movement from the Kurdistan Regional Government.
The Council held its meeting today in the city of Sulaymaniyah, in the presence of the General Coordinator of the Movement for Change, Omar Sayed Ali, to discuss the issue of withdrawal from the government and ways to resolve the outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad.
The Secretary General of the Movement for Change, Delkhwaaz Kakrsh, told the movement's media, "The Council will submit a proposal to withdraw the movement from the government to the National Assembly to decide it."
He pointed out that "the meeting of the National Council for the movement of change will see the issuance of several important decisions on the situation in the Kurdistan region."
It is scheduled to meet the National Council for Change Movement next week, to study the proposals and recommendations of the General Council and the issuance of decisions thereon.
The movement's media did not refer to the "freezing of the political agreement signed with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan", while the agenda of today's meeting also included discussing this issue.
