The Iraqi General Company for Iraqi Ports, on Sunday, set a record of unloading 15120 thousand tons of wheat during a period of 24 hours in the port of Umm Qasr South.
"The southern port of Umm Qasr has reached a record high of 15,120 tons of wheat," said General Manager Safa Abdul Hussein in a statement received by the agency All Iraq.
He added that this figure is a major achievement for the ministry, where the port has not achieved since its establishment to unload a quantity of this size and the same duration.
