The President of the House of Representatives, Mr. Mohamed Halbusi, the lack of enjoyment of the presidency of the Council and ladies and gentlemen MPs, whether in the current or previous electoral cycle any pension or other privileges.
"The President of the House of Representatives and his deputies and members of the Council for the current or previous electoral cycle have no retirement privileges and did not allocate cars and other material privileges to the deputies," President Halaboussi said in response to the circulation of the privileges of deputies.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives that "the last electoral cycle has seen a reduction in the salaries of the owners of special grades, including members of the House of Representatives to less than half in line with the policy of austerity and pressure of expenditure," noting "reducing the number of protections of deputies by half and also MPs are still welcome this trend."
"The facilities and facilities available to the members of the provincial councils and even the heads of administrative units are superior to those granted to members of the House of Representatives, including personal protections and use vehicles," Halabousi said.
