Child Welfare Authority stressed on Saturday the need for concerted local and international efforts to promote the status of children, particularly in the liberated areas, and assured agreement on a number of programmes for children, including rehabilitation and residential role of psychological and social rehabilitation activities.
The current status of the liberated areas requires the concerted efforts of all government institutions, international organizations and civil society organizations for the promotion of children.
The statement said the children got (range), a copy of it, that "the Commission held a meeting with a number of civil society organizations working on children's issues to discuss possible offer of services and programs for children in the liberated areas", stating that "this meeting was based on the directives of the Minister of labour and Social Affairs and the child welfare agency chief Mohamed" sheyaa.
The statement stressed the "necessity of openness to international organizations and civil society organizations to work together to serve the implementation of programmes and activities that the child protection policy document on Iraq prepared by the child welfare authority in cooperation with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
Later confirmed, according to the statement, which was attended by representatives from the gate of Justice and charity and United National training network leadership and management on "the importance of the role played by the child welfare authority under the challenges facing children in Iraq", stating that "the current state of the liberated areas requires the concerted efforts of all government institutions, international organizations and civil society organizations to promote the reality of children and provide everything you could submit for displaced families and especially children.
And the statement that "the meeting agreed to implement a range of programmes and rehabilitation of children and support them especially those programmes set forth in the child protection policy document", stating that "organizations will rehabilitation residential role in Nineveh and configured to receive and affected children of unknown parentage and placed in that role in addition to offering programs and activities for the psychosocial rehabilitation of children and other events aimed at the reintegration of children in the liberated areas."
