Al-Rafidain Bank announced on Saturday that it had granted loans amounting to 40 million dinars for those affected by the Shorja fires, with an annual interest rate of 5%.
The director general of the bank, Khawla Taleb Jabbar, said in a press statement received by "Economy News" that "it was decided to grant those affected by the fires of Shorja loans of 30 million dinars to 40 million dinars."
"The purpose of this is to rehabilitate their shops," she said. "The interest rate for these loans was set at 5 percent and on bail."
