A judicial source expected Thursday that the Federal Court will approve the election results ahead of Eid al-Adha.
"The ratification of the election results will take place before Eid al-Adha, mid-week next week," the source said.
"In the worst case, the results will be approved in the first session of the Federal Court after Eid al-Adha," he said.
The Electoral Commission announced today the final results of the elections to the Federal Supreme Court for approval.
"All the appeals have been completed by the judiciary in the Federal Court of Cassation, after completion of the relevant stages," the official spokesman of the Electoral Commission, Judge Laith Jabr Hamza, said in a statement.
"The final results of the elections were sent to the Federal Supreme Court for the purpose of ratification," Hamza said.
