Shafaq News / MP of State of law coalition , Awaeif Nemaa described the Inquiry Committee ‘s report on the fall of Mosul, which is scheduled to vote on it today as politically motivated, calling for the need to replace the Chairman of the Committee , Hakem al-Zamili by another person "for lack of impartiality." The Chairman of the parliamentary committee in charge of investigation on the fall of Mosul, Hakim al-Zamili announced yesterday on the completion of the preparation of the names of those involved, will be submitted to the Parliament . According to leaks seen by Shafaq News, the final list of those responsible for the fall of Mosul included 25 people including the former head of government and commander of the Armed Forces ,Nuri al-Maliki.
MP , Awatif Nemaa stated in an interview received by Shafaq News, that the Inquiry committee on the fall of Mosul, according to a report published by some media lacks the most basic conditions of impartiality and objectivity in all its aspects.
"The report holds primarily Maliki and Babacar Zebari responsibility for the collapse of the army and the occupation of Mosul by ISIS terrorist organization, while didn’t mention Massoud Barzani, the first beneficiary of the fall of Mosul, who was replaced by Bbabiker Zebari, and there is plenty of evidence, documents and videos that demonstrate Barzani’s orders to his officers and soldiers to withdraw and not to respond to ISIS under the pretext that they are fighting the Safavid army. "
She said, "The report did not address the areas occupied by Peshmerga taking advantage of the chaos created by ISIS".
She added, "as the report did not mention the role of Mosul police in the city after receiving orders they from Athel al-Nujaifi to withdraw," noting "the speaker of parliament published confessions of members of the Council of Nineveh province in this regard."
She explained "it is illogical to assume the prime minister the whole responsibility for any attack on the country or a province, for example, who is responsible for the fall of Anbar, who bears responsibility for al-Thar Thar massacre on which the Defense Minister, said that the 18 soldiers were killed only and then a mass grave was revealed. "
Nemaa stressed that there are many direct and indirect factors must be taken into consideration and are being studied by Iraqi or non-Iraqi specialists military experts rather than relying on a committee compromised of political parties. "
She stressed on "the need to replace the Chairman of the Committee , Hakim al-Zamili who failed to provide objective results on this important investigation and his lack of professionalism demonstrated in dealing with the issue SOURCE
