The Parliamentary Economics and Investment Committee headed by MP Hassan Jalal Al-Kanani and the members of the Committee held on Wednesday 13/3/2019 a meeting to discuss the issue of import licenses and customs tariffs and the negative effects resulting from the accumulation of goods,
The Committee agreed to host the Minister of Commerce, the Director General of the Border Ports Authority and the Director General of the Customs Authority to identify the problems facing this vital sector.
On the other hand, the committee discussed the amendment of the Companies Law No. 21 of 1997 amended and submitted for the second reading, and discussed the subject of the work of the Central Bank and follow-up work as well as reviewing the terms of the agreement with Jordan on the economic side.
