In its second extraordinary session, the Cabinet issued a number of decisions related to tackling problems in Basra Governorate.
The decisions stipulated the support and support of the people of Basra, especially the families of the victims, civilians and military, and the sending of a ministerial team remains in Basra until the completion of the tasks assigned, and authorizes all necessary powers from the Council of Ministers.
The decisions also included the release of funds allocated under the management of the team with exceptional powers in accordance with previous decisions of the Council of Ministers, and the support of the security forces and the armed forces to enforce the law and enable them to protect citizens and public and private property.
The resolutions affirmed the right to peaceful demonstration guaranteed by the constitution, and supporting civil society initiatives to participate in the reconstruction and voluntary work campaigns, and to communicate with the youth sector in Basra governorate and their participation in reform projects.
