
Mubasher: The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, today, Saturday, instructed the Ministry of Finance to expel the salaries of employees.
The Prime Minister's Office stated in a statement that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi held a meeting with Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi.
Al-Kazemi stressed during the meeting, according to the statement, that "the launch takes place without delay, and that the ministry work with all its capabilities to put the solutions that were discussed into practice."
He pointed out that "the government apparatus continues to maximize non-oil revenues and find financial cover for employee salaries."
The Prime Minister stressed that the current financial crisis is an opportunity to meet the challenge of implementing financial and administrative reform.
He pointed out that "the government has resolved to proceed with this reform until it is reflected positively on economic development, and the provision of welfare and good governance to all Iraqis."
On the other hand, Al-Kazimi directed the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to increase the production of medical oxygen to supply hospitals with it.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated that Al-Kazemi held a meeting with the ministers of finance, industry, minerals, health and planning, during which he was updated on the latest developments in the pandemic in Iraq and the procedures of the Ministry of Health and the problems faced by health institutions, and work to find immediate solutions in providing oxygen to people living with the Corona virus.
He added, that during the meeting, the Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Industry and Minerals to operate all production lines for oxygen production, and to accelerate the addition of new production lines with the aim of supporting hospitals with oxygen in the capital, Baghdad, and the rest of the provinces.
Al-Kazimi stressed the pursuit of the corrupt who obstruct the production of oxygen and its arrival in hospitals, stressing that strict measures have been taken to prevent these corrupt gangs from trading in the health and lives of the injured patients, according to the statement.
