The Joint Operations Command confirmed on Saturday that the armed forces were able to cordon off Tal Afar district in full and from all sides in preparation for its break-up and release from the organization of the terrorist advocate.
The spokesman of the Joint Operations Command Brigadier Yehia Rasool said in a press statement that the army forces and the popular crowd, was able to encircle the district of Tal Afar, west of Mosul, from all sides, in preparation for the break and release from the control of Dahesh.
Rasul explained that the encirclement took place after the supplies were cut off from the Syrian territory towards Iraq, explaining that by liberating the areas of al-Halabi and al-Ayadiyah in Tal Afar, it will be possible to say that Nineveh province has been completely liberated.
