The General Company of Iraqi Railways started on Sunday the process of installing advanced systems for the purpose of monitoring the trains of goods and passengers to document the smooth flow of trains on the railways and document the security and service aspects of the ascending and descending trains. The Director General of the company Eng. Salam Jabr Saloum said that this step came under the guidance of the Minister of Transport Engineer Abdullah Luaibi
Preceded by an advanced stage included the installation of 24 surveillance cameras inside and outside passenger trains followed by the second phase, which will include the installation of ten monitoring systems for passenger trains and goods.
He added that this preparation can be increased in light of the advanced stages of work towards the provinces of Iraq, all of which are experiencing increasing demand because of the quality of services provided by the company to the traveler during the trip.
