The US ambassador in Baghdad, Douglas Soliman, announced Wednesday, next week will see the announcement of a project related to gas will not cost Iraq any dinars.
"US companies in Iraq will unveil an associated gas investment project in southern Iraq with gas that will not cost the Iraqi government any dinars," Sileman said in an interview with a number of media outlets including the Economy News.
"US companies operating in Baghdad operate under the US anti-corruption law and do not cost Iraq any money.
He noted that "(65) investment companies from the US Chamber of Commerce will participate in the Kuwait Conference for the reconstruction of Iraq."
