Update to Website~~Changes
As we advised you on 8-7, we are having issues with our Website Provider/Host and it just keeps continuing - since July 27 we have an issue with the dates on our postings. Every day after 5PM the system never dates it the current date. It may be one day ahead...two days ahead.....one day before...we just never know. They sometimes just disappear. I can not tell you the countless hours we have spent doing this. We have been trying to change the dates for all news posted after 5PM but it will NOT change. So if you see dates that do not look right- this is why.....then I get up in the early morning and change the dates to the current date. What a time wasting mess.
We also are having problems with formatting and many other issues that I will not go into but it has not been easy to get all of this done for you guys, but we do it for you all. One of the problems is that we can format the article and it will sometimes just change to whatever it wants to. Several (and I do mean several) comments were made that we are getting sloppy with our news. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME... What?? I can not believe anyone would even say that about the news they get from us...

So for those several people, maybe you should find another site to go to... The ones that don't post anything....call it every day....that take all of our news and images every day and post it on their site with no credit to us....whatever...
Kim and I spend hours daily searching, finding, posting, and we don't have a whole team of members posting news for us like others...IF they post at all. Okay enough said..you dont want to hear the rest.
For the time being, we have set up a new Iraq News Blog set up for Iraq News only... We did this to see if it would correct the issues but it hasn't. Go to the tab Iraq News Current - it is a much wider blog for easier reading for you all..until we get it fixed. It is on this site right above Iraq News (which is the older news).
We do not have the luxury of switching Website providers for many reasons - money, time & we could lose alot of our content which is unacceptable to us.
Lastly, I am working in the background with changing the Theme of The IQD Team Connection to make it easier to read, give us more flexibility, and give it a modern look. This also is not easy. When you change the theme it changes everything. With that said, please note Kim and I are going to work on this tomorrow (we hope) so if you go to the site and it is down or changing you will know why. Hopefully by the weekend it will all be done. We do not know until we change it.
I hope to send out a mailer later today with More Iraq News...ITS ALL GOOD...
