Ki-moon is closely watching the subject of the presidency of the region and hopes compatibility thereon

A spokesman for Secretary-General of the United Nations, said Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, "watching closely on the subject of the presidency of the Kurdistan region of Iraq." He added that Ban "calls on the political parties in the Kurdistan region to consensus and unite and shows, support for any result lead to the unification of the political parties in the region, and hopes to lead the consolidation of the results of the meetings and the Iraqi Kurdistan region."  With regard to the United Nations informed about meetings held one after the other in the Kurdistan region to resolve the issue of presidency of the province, a spokesman for the Secretary-General said, "They are not only looking forward on the subject, but watching him closely." 
He added that "Ban Ki-moon hopes to reach political parties in the province have agreed to reunification and more stability to the situation in Iraq and Kurdistan." 
And it tightens the Kurdistan region since a few days intensive dialogue between the political parties, especially the major ones out to dissolve a consensus regarding the amendment presidency of the regional laws, at a time Shura Kurdistan Council decided Wednesday to extend the mandate of the region's president, Massoud Barzani, which ended last Thursday, August 20 to two years which was rejected by some Kurdish parties, the Kurdish movement while promised to change the decision politically motivated and that he is not the prerogative of this Council ".anthy   SOURCE
