The Ministry of Planning, Sunday, for it seeks to cut projects for 30% of its funding to be able to, calling on all ministries and local governments in the provinces to bring the priorities of ongoing projects. The official ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra al-Hindawi in an interview with Alsumaria News that he "should be reconsidered ongoing projects so that it is reduced to 30% to be able to be funded and continuity, whether by way of payment on credit or investment", adding that "this move would maintain the level of growth in the severity of the lowest order and do not stop the wheel of development in the country. "

He Hindawi that " Iraq is not a poor and has plenty of economic units, but the problem facing Iraq is a problem of liquidity and that affect one way or another on the income level of the result decreases purchasing power of the citizen and that will affect a lot of the details of life. "

Hindawi called "All ministries and local governments in the provinces to reconsider the priorities of the ongoing projects," adding that "there are projects already put into effect years and therefore must start order of priorities according to the importance of each of these projects."

It is noteworthy that Iraq suffers from a major financial crisis during the current year 2015 to a deficit in its budget of 25 trillion dinars due to lower international oil prices, while most ministries announced stop new projects because of the lack of allocations for the investment budget, while the Ministry of Finance demanded all of the secretariat of Baghdad and electricity and other service ministries to activate the collection to finance its business.
