"The war against terrorism is continuing, but the most important thing today is the provision of services," said Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, in an effort to ensure the success of the reconstruction and development campaign in a bid to stop millions of Iraqis from defending their homeland and liberating their cities.
The Prime Minister said during his opening this morning the Northwest Baghdad transformative plant (400KV): "We must stay at the theory of laying the foundation stone, but we open every week and month productive service projects serving the Iraqis."
He called for "one stop and millions of Iraqis in response to the Islamic Jihad's preaching against terrorism and mobilizing all forces and capabilities to make the reconstruction and development process successful." He called for abandoning attempts to plant frustration and obstacles and reform the crippled legislation to achieve the basic goal of providing and developing services.
He praised "the efforts of the previous government in this area," stressing "the approach of continuity and accumulation of experience and completion of achievements."
"The electricity crisis has taken a serious dimension, and it has spent a lot of efforts, money and dear sacrifices. It could have solved this problem without negligence, mismanagement and unwarranted factors, in addition to the lack of comprehensive and integrated plans," he said.
The Prime Minister hailed "the souls of the martyrs, the wounded and the sacrifices of the Ministry of Electricity, and thanked the supervisors for the establishment, opening and operation of the station."
