The Agricultural Cooperative Bank announced on Thursday that borrowers who marketed their crops to the Ministry of Commerce would be exempted from delaying interest.
The bank said in a statement received by "Economy News" a copy, that "the borrowers of our bank are exempted for all purposes - of the delaying interest of those who marketed their crops to the Ministry of Commerce and did not receive their dues."
The statement added that "this came in accordance with the decision of the Council of Ministers No. 14 of 2016 to be provided proof of marketing of those crops."
