The Rafidain Bank said on Monday that the housing loans 50 million dinars granted to citizens for the purpose of construction financed from its own resources.
"The bank took it upon itself to contribute to solving the housing crisis by granting housing loans for the purpose of building housing units of 50 square meters and above, 50 million dinars, granted in three installments," the statement said.
He added that "the bank finances these loans from its own resources and has not received any grants from the state in the form of other specialized banks," noting that "the bank sets the interest rates paid by deposits, which amounts to 7 percent and in light of which determines the interest rates of loans."
