The Central Bank of Iraq withdrew on Wednesday a license to broker two companies for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies for violating the instructions, calling on the Ministry of Commerce to cancel the certificate of foundation granted to them by them.
The bank said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "in view of the violation of companies Karam friends and Zad to mediate the sale and purchase of foreign currency provisions of the instructions to regulate the work of mediation companies decided to withdraw the leave of establishment of the two companies and withdraw their letter of guarantee issued for the benefit of this bank."
The bank called on the Ministry of Commerce to "cancel the certificate of incorporation granted to them by them, in addition to removing the names of the two companies from their records and providing the Central Bank with the letter of liquidation certified."
