Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim and his German counterpart Haiku Mas discussed Tuesday the crises in the Middle East and the importance of launching initiatives to end the conflict and achieve stability in the region.
The foreign ministry said in a statement received by Al-Furat News that "Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim had a telephone conversation with his German counterpart Haiku Mas, and dealt with all subjects of interest to both countries."
The two sides exchanged views on a number of issues, including: the crises facing the Middle East, the importance of providing effective political solutions, and initiatives aimed at ending the conflict, achieving security and stability in this sensitive region worldwide.
