The House of Representatives in its meeting to be held on Thursday, the ministers of oil and finance to inquire about the non-delivery of oil revenues of the region.
"The hosting of the two ministers in the session today comes after we submitted a request to amend the budget law to oblige the Kurdistan Regional Government to hand over oil revenues to the federal government," said the MP for the alliance of victory Yusuf al-Kalabi in a statement quoted by the official newspaper "Sabah".
He added, "Based on what took place in the last session, it was decided to host the ministers of oil and finance and the President of the Office of Financial Supervision and the Prime Minister or his representative," noting that "the purpose of hosting address the issue of non-delivery of oil revenues to the company Sumo."
Al-Kalabi pointed out that "the information available on the amount of oil issued by the region more than 500 thousand barrels per day and this documents and evidence will be put in the hosting session," pointing out that "we aim through hosting to ensure social justice for all the Iraqi people."
