This was an email I received from one of our listeners Chris who has a Warka Bank Account - he was not able to access his account for over 6 months. I am passing this on to our listeners who have Warka Bank Accounts that have asked in the past about how they access their accounts. I do NOT know if this is true - just passing on in case it is.
it came from a poster named WARKAaccounts
Even though this post isn't relating to anything in the above post I felt this place is as good as any to put it where it may be visible for those who have a Warka account and who can't access their accounts.
I have had my account for about 5-6 years now and have had no problem. The ONLY reason for this is, is because every year near the anniversary of opening my account I email them to give permission to take out my annual fees out of the account. You may not realize but there is an annual fee to have an account there. It is a very minor amount. What you need to do is send an email to : e-bank@warka-bank-iq.com and in the subject line of the email put Yearly Account Fees. In the body of the email state that you give permission for them to take your annual fees out.
Give them the account name + the account number for the iqd + the account number of the usd account.
Then keep a note that at the same time every year to do this.
That's all you need to do. I usually do it a few weeks before the annual date to make sure. I hope this has helped any of you with this problem.
