Iraq and the State of Qatar agreed to activate economic and trade relations and restore channels of communication in all fields and hold meetings of the Iraqi-Qatari committee in Doha early next month.

For his part, Qatari Minister of Commerce Ali bin Ahmad Al-Kuwari expressed his happiness to visit Iraq, which is witnessing a stable stability, stressing Qatar's desire to activate the memorandum of understanding between the two countries and develop the fields of economic and investment work.
He pointed out the importance of forming a joint working group to review the memorandum of understanding and work on discussing the free trade agreement between the two countries with the aim of developing economic and trade relations and finding new channels of communication as well as the possibility of Qatari companies contributing to investments and rehabilitation of factories and factories in Iraq.
