The Iraqi side discussed in the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council the period of time specified in the agreement between the two countries and addressing the obstacles in all the areas covered by the agreement during a session held at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The meeting, according to a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, presented a summary of the meeting of the Economic, Trade, Investment, Development and Relief Committee, along with their counterparts on the Saudi side, during the meeting held in Riyadh in May 2019.
The meeting discussed the establishment of a sports stadium dedicated to Saudi Arabia by King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Iraq's accession to the International Council of Dates in Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed the recommendations of the meeting of the Committee on Transport, Border Ports and Ports, and the signing of a memorandum of understanding for commercial exchange and development planning after the final draft agreement was approved and ratified.
The Committee endorsed the minutes of the meeting of the 8th meeting and included the final recommendations of the current meeting.
