"The G20 finance ministers and central bank governors should avoid resorting to extraordinary measures to settle trade disputes," IMF Executive Director Christine Lagarde said.
The time was ripe for States to implement economic reforms to make growth more robust, sustainable, balanced and inclusive, and the temptation of self-sufficiency policies should be avoided and work together to reduce trade barriers and resolve trade disputes without resorting to exceptional measures.
