The Secretary-General of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Saleh Al-Salami, revealed on Sunday that his country exported 315 million dollars worth of food and construction products to Iraq last year.
"Non-oil exports to Iraq over the last five years have reached about 10 billion Saudi riyals ($ 2.6 billion)," Al-Salami said in a statement to Saudi Arabia's Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper.
He added that "the Kingdom's exports to Iraq during the year 2018 amounted to 2.4 billion Saudi riyals, and the food sector ranked first for Saudi exports to Iraq worth 662 million Saudi riyals (165.86 dollars), followed by the construction materials sector with an export value of 565 million riyals $ 150.6 million).economy-news.net/content.php?id=15811
