MP Farhat al-Tamimi, head of the Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshlands, visited on Monday 13/11/2017 the Agricultural Bank of the district of Baladrouz district in Diyala province after receiving a complaint about the existence of financial and administrative corruption within its control rounds to detect corruption files and prosecute corrupt people.
He briefed MP Tamimi on the progress of work and follow-up some transactions for the owners of agricultural loans after the complaint addressed to him by farmers and farmers with the existence of financial and administrative corruption.
MP Fratt al-Tamimi met with the director and staff of the Agricultural Bank to follow up on several issues, including the delay of some transactions for the owners of agricultural loans and the methods used in dealing with auditors.
For his part, the chairman of the committee listened to the complaints of the farmers and farmers' auditors about the existence of extortion and corruption through fraud of contracts and misappropriation of public money, stressing their legal follow-up in order to uncover these files and punish the defaulters. He called on the General Directorate of the Agricultural Bank to conduct a comprehensive and thorough investigation of corruption files And the transfer of the defaulters to the judiciary, stressing the importance of exposing the files of corruption and waste public money.
Al-Tamimi directed the management of the branch of Baldrooz, in accordance with the laws in force and follow up the work of its employees and open the doors of the administration before any complaint or note, as well as fighting corruption in any form and no less dangerous than terrorism.
