Protesters are demanding the resignation of Najaf head of the Supreme Judicial Council Midhat Mahmoud

Most of the demonstrations in Iraqi cities to protest the corrupt files  A member of the provincial council in Najaf, Ammar Aerbawi, on Saturday, that the local government is trying to respond to the demands of the demonstrators.  Said Aerbawi network Roudao media, said that "the weekly demonstrations taking place in the city of Najaf is a constitutional, legal, and we try as much as possible the implementation of these demands as soon as possible."  He said a member of the provincial council, said the demands of the demonstrators focused on the dismissal of the sacking of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Council of the Federal High Court Judge Medhat al-Mahmoud.  He denied Aerbawi, news that talked about the demands of the demonstrators to overthrow the local government of Najaf.  He said the local government and the Najaf provincial council in response to the invitation of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi protect the protesters.  Experiencing the capital Baghdad and several Iraqi cities a wave of popular protests to press for sweeping reforms aimed to eliminate the files of corruption in the ministries and government departments.  SOURCE
