Baghdad / .. Independent MP Basem Al-Khashan revealed, on Sunday, that there is a Sunni Shiite political consensus on the dismissal of Speaker of Parliament Muhammad Al-Halbousi, while he stated that Al-Halbousi's dismissal will take place before the remaining ministries pass the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
Al-Khashan said that "Al-Halbousi kidnapped the parliament through his uniqueness with the parliamentary decision, which prompted the political blocs to agree to remove him from the presidency of the parliament," noting that "the Shiite and Sunni forces agree to dismiss Al-Halbousi."
He added that "Al-Halbousi acted boyishly by the council, as well as assuming responsibility for disrupting parliament for several months without any legal justification," noting that "Al-Halbousi's dismissal will take place before the remaining ministries pass the Al-Kazemi government."
